Anne Bezancon, Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Anne has an impressive track record in executive management and project implementation in communications, computing and the online field.
Prior to founding 1020, Anne was VP of Directory Services at JiWire. Through the relationships she developed with more than 300 service providers worldwide, she built the leading directory of public wi-fi hotspots from scratch. As the founder and former CEO of BEAP, Anne provided custom content management solutions for online publishers. In her role as Executive Producer at Productopia, which during her tenure quadrupled in size, Anne coordinated web strategy, business objectives, content and technology.
Anne also co-founded PCI, a strategic consulting firm that specialized in alliances between the US and Europe, and whose clients included Excite, Swatch, Prodigy, Infogrames and AT&T. In 1994, Anne organized the 40,000-participant Forum of the United Nations Conference on Women in Beijing, China, securing major corporate sponsorship from Apple and Hewlett-Packard. In the late 80s, she also pioneered the Minitel system in France, managing multimillion dollar projects.
Anne holds an LLM and JD from the University of Paris and an MBA from the IEP of Paris, France.
Daniel Parkes, Vice President of Engineering, Co-Founder
Daniel is responsible for developing 1020's Situational Content Engine, including core intellectual property around location management, allocation and forecasting. Currently, he focuses on the design and development of scalable, enterprise-grade applications to meet the growing needs of 1020's customers.
Prior to founding 1020, Daniel was a lead architect at Manhattan Associates, a supply-chain software company with products in logistics, transportation, replenishment and retail planning. He was a key member of the team that developed from the ground up Manhattan's flagship replenishment and inventory management product which is now implemented at several Fortune 500 companies. Daniel has 10 years experience as an executive, software architect and developer.
Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cognitive Neuroscience from Harvard University and is a Master's candidate in Computer Science at Stanford University.
Blair Swedeen, Vice President of Market Development
Blair is responsible for 1020's marketing and business development activities with ISPs, web publishers, mobile application providers and other distribution partners.
Prior to joining 1020, Blair founded Partenza Consulting, a strategy and business development consultancy advising leading players and investors in the Location-Based Services (LBS) industry. Previously, he had overall responsibility for the Internet/Wireless product line at NAVTEQ, the leading digital map content company, and launched the company's mobile content product line. Before joining NAVTEQ, Blair was a Director and Quantitative Analyst at UBS Global Asset Management where he owned development and operations for the firm's global equity valuation platform.
Blair has more than eight years of experience across product strategy, product management and business development in LBS, digital content, applications and analytics. He is a regularly featured speaker and columnist who also serves on the advisory board for the Silicon Valley Association of Startup Entrepreneurs (SVASE).
Blair holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business.

Rich LeFurgy
Rich has served on company boards as a director (Blue Lithium [sold to Yahoo!], Web Clients [sold to ValueClick], x+1 and Associated Content), provided advisory services to large and small online advertising companies (Google, AOL, Blue Lithium, Glam) and personally invested in promising online advertising startups (Ad Relevance [sold to Nielsen NetRatings], Grouper/Crackle [sold to Sony] and Blue Lithium). He has long been a supporter and evangelist to help grow the industry, and was the founding Chairman of the IAB, the Future of Advertising Stakeholders (FAST) and the SF Bay Area Interactive Group (SFBIG), and has served on the board of the Advertising Research Foundation (ARF), the Advertising Education Foundation (AEF) and the advisory board of ad:tech. He received the IAB's Lifetime Achievement Award (2004), was inducted into Advertising Age's Interactive Hall of Fame (2000) and was recognized by USAToday as “the Johnny Appleseed of Online Advertising“ (1998).
Jodi Jahic, Voyager Capital
Jodi is based in Voyager’s Silicon Valley office, where she leads Voyager’s wireless sector team. She has over ten years of entrepreneurial and venture investment experience in the wireless and communications sectors. Jodi is a board member or observer at 1020, Airlink Communications (acquired by Sierra Wireless, Nasdaq:SWIR), Tropos Networks, Melodeo, and Contivo.
Susan Mason, Onset Ventures
Susan specializes in hardware and software investments in the communications, networking and security arenas. She currently serves on the boards of 1020, Airplay, Brilliant Networks, ClariPhy Communications, Glimmerglass, Obopay, PacketMotion, Securent (acquired by Cisco in 2007) and SS8 Networks.
